Sandpoint sits at the top of our service area. It is a genuine drive from Coeur d'Alene — Highway 95 north, across the Long Bridge, and into town — and we quote it on honest timing rather than pretending the distance is not there.
The demand is real enough to make the trip worth it. Weddings on Lake Pend Oreille, events at Schweitzer, and airport runs down to Spokane from Bonner County all need transportation that does not exist in quantity locally.
Planning a Sandpoint trip properly
Distance is the whole story. A wedding in Sandpoint with a Spokane airport arrival on the same day is a long sequence, and it needs to be scheduled with the drive counted rather than assumed. On a summer weekend, Highway 95 and the Long Bridge carry lake traffic that can add meaningfully to the run.
Schweitzer adds elevation to the equation. The road up the mountain is a serious climb, and in winter it is a chained-and-plowed environment that a stretch limousine is simply not the right vehicle for. For Schweitzer bookings we will normally arrange to serve the town and the base area rather than the mountain road itself, and we will say so before you book rather than after.
Because of the drive, Sandpoint trips are quoted with travel time included and are best booked well ahead. A same-week Sandpoint request during wedding season is unlikely to find a gap.
